Sergei is a professional dancer and teacher with 20 years of experience. Sergei has a PhD in Dance Choreography and started his professional dancing in Russia.
Sergei's professional background includes ballet and ballroom dancing.
He is a winner of numerous International Open Latin Dance Championships (England, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Holland). Sergei was a finalist of National Professional Championship in Russia (1997), and a finalist of USA National Professional Dance Championship (2001). He is a winner of many dance competitions in the USA. ( New Jersey, California, New York, Delaware).
Sergei has also taught at University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA) and Dance Plus Studio (Collingswood, NJ.).

2nd Place Open Gold International Latin Dance Championship (FL 2006)
1st Place Ohio Star Ball (OH, 2006)
2nd Place Open Gold International Latin Manhattan Dance Sport Championship (NY, 2002)
Sergei is successfully teaching Social Dancing and has a lot of experience working with beginners. He was teaching in Fred Astaire Dance Studios in New York (1998-2000).
Sergei Trubin also gives private lessons by appointment and Wedding Dance Choreography at his studio in Collingswood NJ.
